Message from the president
Welcome, and thank you for your interest in Western Michigan University.
We have begun the search for our next vice president for advancement and executive director of the WMU Foundation. This leader will play a vital role in advancing Western's mission by strengthening relationships with alumni, donors and partners while inspiring philanthropic investment in our strategic priorities.
To assist with this important search, I have appointed a Search Advisory Committee co-chaired by Dan Bartholomae, vice president and director of athletics, and Dr. Remzi Seker, vice president for research and innovation. The committee brings together University and Foundation leaders who will help identify and evaluate candidates for this important leadership role.
This is an exciting time at Western Michigan University. Our momentum is evident in record student success, growing research, transformative investments across campus and the historic Empowering Futures Gift, which continues to shape opportunities for generations of Broncos.
The next vice president for advancement and executive director of the WMU Foundation will help build on that momentum by strengthening lifelong relationships with those who believe in Western's mission and are committed to its future.
I invite you to learn more about this opportunity through the materials on this page.
Thank you,
Russ Kavalhuna
