Happy Thanksgiving

Dear Colleagues:

Thank you for all that you do to make Western Michigan University one of the nation’s finest universities.

The look and feel of our campus attracts compliments from visitors throughout the year. Those not familiar with WMU know almost immediately when they step on our campus that this is indeed a special place. We have a talented faculty, dedicated staff and students who know their path to continued success is through education at a top-notch university—Western Michigan University.

On a very personal level, I appreciate coming to the University each day because I know that I am entering an environment that is focused on success, with the priority fixed firmly on our students.

I want to take this time to thank each and every member of our University community for the commitment and dedication shown every day to sustaining this as an institution that is learner centered, discovery driven and globally engaged. While we recognize the quest for excellence is never ending, we know our path and trajectory are clearly in the right direction.

Please know that during this Thanksgiving recess, I will reflect and give thanks for your dedication to and support for Western Michigan University. Happy Thanksgiving to your families and loved ones!
