Finding success in the Robert S. Kaiser Sales, Negotiation and Leadership Lab

At the Robert S. Kaiser Sales, Negotiation and Leadership Lab in the Haworth College of Business, students participate in authentic selling scenarios in a realistic environment where they are recorded and can review their sales role-plays. Through multiple interactions, students develop a level of confidence that cannot come from classroom activity alone. Students have the ability to watch and learn from their own recordings, which helps them improve their selling skills naturally.

Our students' talent has commanded the attention of recruiters for many years. Currently, the sales and business marketing program boasts a 98 percent engagement rate, which means that nearly all students are employed or in graduate school within three months of earning their degrees.

  • Join in our success

WMU sales and business marketing students consistently place in the top 5 of national competitions, demonstrating the excellence of our program, faculty and resources.

  • Become part of our tradition

Our reputation has drawn students and employers to the program since its inception in 1999, and over the past two decades, we have grown from 49 majors to 320, necessitating an upgrade to our sales lab.
