Peña Cabreja couldn't exactly sing for her supper once she landed in the United States. As an international student, visa restrictions meant she needed to get a job on campus in order to earn money. Throughout her time at Western, she's worked in dining halls, the Bernhard Center, the Student Recreation Center and as a campus tour guide.

Easily one of the most interesting experiences I’ve had in my career was landing a presentation design contract with Disney Parks, Experiences and Products. Although COVID-19 has kept me away from Disney’s Creative Campus, I don’t think I ever had a job where I genuinely was excited to come to work every day until being there. I worked directly with the design manager in a very fast-paced environment, meeting with our internal clients—Star Wars and Fox—and creating high-impact presentations.
