Vincent Reitano holds a Ph.D. in Public Administration from North Carolina State University and a Master of Public Administration and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Villanova University. His research interests include public budgeting and finance, public policy, and statistical methodology. Prior to joining WMU in 2018, he interned with the Department of Homeland Security, completed a research fellowship at SAS Institute and worked for the Department of Defense and Government Finance Officers Association. As a professional researcher, Dr. Reitano has consulted with a variety of cities and school districts across the United States and regularly speaks at both academic and practitioner conferences. He has a diverse portfolio of publications including peer-reviewed journal articles, edited book chapters, and professional and technical reports.
