Vincent Reitano holds a Ph.D. in Public Administration from North Carolina State University and a Master of Public Administration and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Villanova University.  As a professional researcher, Dr. Reitano has consulted with a variety of cities and school districts across the United States and regularly speaks at both academic and practitioner conferences. He has published peer-reviewed research in a range of journals including American Review of Public Administration, Contemporary Economic Policy, Journal of Government Financial Management, Public Budgeting & Finance, and Public Finance Review. Dr. Reitano has also published multiple book chapters, encyclopedia entries, professional articles in Government Finance Review, and technical reports. Prior to joining WMU, Dr. Reitano worked for the Department of Defense and the Government Finance Officers Association, completed a research fellowship at SAS Institute, and interned with the Department of Homeland Security.  Dr. Reitano’s teaching experience and interests include:
