L.I.F.E. - Learning Insight for Future Endeavors
The RSO L.I.F.E. at WMU aims to help students connect with their authentic selves and discover careers that align with their passions and skills. Over fifty percent of graduates face the challenge of underemployment, often due to a lack of career counseling, limited economic growth, and the absence of programs like L.I.F.E. at WMU. This organization addresses these challenges by pairing students with professional mentors in their chosen fields, offering networking opportunities, and providing avenues for community service. By participating in L.I.F.E. at WMU, students gain a deeper understanding of their strengths and interests, ultimately finding careers well suited to their studies and aspirations.
L.I.F.E. at WMU is an RSO dedicated to the development of college students. Many students face the challenge of not being prepared for life after college and suffer from the challenge of underemployment because they get sucked into the college bubble. College traditionally takes 4 years to complete but can easily get extended because many students switch majors, get distracted, or do not have an idea of what they want to do. L.I.F.E. at WMU is dedicated to creating the space necessary for students to find their authentic selves and providing them with the tools needed for a flourishing career and a bright future with big benefits.
