Spring Conference on Wind and Percussion Music
Viet Cuong will be the featured composer at the 55th Annual Spring Conference on Wind and Percussion Music, held on the campus of Western Michigan University on Thursday, April 10, 2025. Cuong will work with both the University Wind Symphony and the Viet Cuong All-Star Band prior to their conference-closing concert at 7:30 p.m. in Miller Auditorium.
The day-long Spring Conference event will include performances and master classes by WMU faculty and student soloists and ensembles. Also featured will be afternoon performances by the following high school bands:
- Williamston High School Symphony Band – Lynn Kelsey, Conductor
- Okemos High School Symphonic Wind Ensemble – Mark D Stice, Conductor
