University Symphonic Band

The University Symphonic Band at Western Michigan University is made up of talented music majors and non-music majors who enjoy the performance of exciting concert literature spanning a wide variety of styles and historical periods. This ensemble performs an average of four concerts per year in WMU’s 3,500-seat Miller Auditorium.
Additionally, the Symphonic Band has the opportunity to work with visiting guest composers and conductors as they share their musical skills and insights while on the WMU campus.
Rehearsal Times
- Fall: Monday through Thursday, 2–2:50 p.m.
- Spring: Tuesday and Thursday, 4–5:15 p.m., and Wednesday, 2–2:50 p.m.
