Academic Advising at Western Michigan University is a collaborative teaching and learning process. Academic advisors and students collaborate to develop educational plans that promote personal growth, academic excellence, career development, and timely degree completion. Through professional development and continuous improvement, WMU academic advisors strive to foster a safe and inclusive environment to advance equity and facilitate self- directed life-long learning.
