Ready to submit your application?
Follow these steps to successfully apply to WMU, or view further below for the fee waiver instructions.
Paying and Submitting
STEP 1
When your application is complete, click the Review Application button in the top right corner of your screen. Scroll through to make sure everything is correct. Remember: you can’t make changes after you’ve submitted the application.
STEP 2
You’ll see that your application is 99% complete, but don’t forget to Save & Pay. Click this button to select your payment method.
STEP 3
Enter your payment information and click continue.
STEP 4
You’ll see that your payment has been received on the next screen. Click submit your application to move to the next screen.
STEP 5
Enter your full name to verify that everything in your application is true and correct.
Once the application is submitted, you’ll see a message thanking you for submitting your application.
STEP 6
Click Return Home to check for next steps and to see what to submit on your Gold Gateway.
Need a Fee Waiver?
A counselor, or other school official, may request an Admission Application Fee Waiver for a student who meets an indicator of economic need, such as those eligible for free or reduced lunch, to have the student's $40 application fee waived. Once the request is received by the Admissions Office, we will send you a fee waiver code to use to finish your application.
Enter the fee waiver code in the last question in the Additional Information section. Then follow steps 4-6 above to submit your application.
