Colleen Scarff

Colleen D. Scarff is the associate vice president for business at Western Michigan University, a position she has held since January, 2020.

Scarff has been a staff member at WMU since 1997 when she was appointed assistant director of accounting services. Since then, she has held a series of progressively more responsible roles in business and finance and development at the University. She has served as director of internal audit for 13 years, executive director for development administration for two years and executive director for budget and financial planning for seven years. 

Prior to joining the WMU staff, Scarff served as controller for seven years with Tasus Corp. in Bloomington, Ind. A certified public accountant, she is a 1988 graduate of Creighton University. Her background also includes employment with what was then Coopers & Lybrand in Lincoln, Neb., and Price Waterhouse in San Diego.
