Academic Integrity Hearing Panel—The hearing panel will hear the charge and determine whether the charge has merit. Coordinated by Student Rights and Responsibilities, faculty and student members are elected by their respective academic departments.

Sanctions

This tutorial will demonstrate how to complete and submit an Academic Dishonesty Charge Form.

  1. Log into GoWMU
  2. Click “Apps”
  3. In the “For faculty and staff” section, click “Faculty/Advisor Self-Service”
  4. In the Faculty and Advisor Services menu, click “Academic Dishonesty Form”
  5. To fill out the Academic Dishonesty Form:
    1. Select term of the allege violation
    2. Select course
    3. Select Student’s name
    4. Enter instructor’s phone number
    5. Select charge(s) – this is a checkbox and multiple charges can be selected
    6. Enter description(s) of charge(s) into the text box
    7. Click “Submit for Review”
      1. This is the final step and very important
  6. Upon receiving email notification from Student Rights and Responsibilities, follow the instructions to attach and submit course syllabus, orginal assignment and supporting documentation to SRR. Submitted files must be .docx, .doc, .pdf, .jpeg, .png, .mp3, .mp4, .txt or .mov format.
