WMU Dual Enrollment Behavior Contract
The goal of this behavior policy is to create a safe and conducive environment for all students to learn. For further information, see https://wmich.edu/studentrights/code.
All dual enrolled students are expected to conduct themselves in a professional and civil manner. This includes exemplifying academic honesty, integrity, fairness, trustworthiness, personal responsibility, respect for others, and ethical conduct.
Students who engage in repetitive disruptive behavior may be dismissed from the program.
Disruptive behavior by any student, in class or out of class, which for any reason materially disrupts the class work of others, involves substantial disorder, invades the rights of others, or otherwise disrupts the regular and essential operation of the University.
Academic Rights and Responsibilities
https://wmich.edu/studentrights
- Student performance will be evaluated solely on academic criteria. Students have protection against prejudice or unfair academic evaluation.
- Students are encouraged to question and discuss the data or opinions presented in their courses. However, it's important that they still learn and understand the material required for each course they are taking.
- Students will be informed by the faculty about course requirements, evaluation procedures, and the academic criteria to be used in each class. This information will be provided at the beginning of the semester or sufficiently in advance of the actual evaluation.
- Students can expect to be treated civilly by others and in turn they are expected to demonstrate civility toward others.
