  • Register for Varsity Team Tryouts

    The WMU Esports Varsity teams is now accepting applications for tryouts for all of our varsity teams: Overwatch, Rocket League or Valorant. Tryouts will be held December 2 & 3 in the Esports Arena. Anyone interested in trying out must complete the registration form by December 1.

    Esports teams at Western Michigan University operate at the club level and compete competitively with other universities' club or varsity teams. All teams are student-run and are financially self-sufficient. Each team is a registered student organization and require tryouts for participation.

    WMU Esports continues to expand their roster of games. The University is committed to pioneering new initiatives within collegiate esports while helping to shape the future of the industry.

  • State-of-the-art practice and competition computers

    The Esports Arena hosts 12 competition and 24 practice PC featuring Alienware 25 gaming monitors with a 240Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time.
