A Conversation about Ethics and Carceral Higher Education

Rebecca Ginsburg, Director of the Education Justice Project at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, will talk with Dale Brown, Director of the Prison Education Outreach Program at Western Michigan University, for a program hosted by the Center for the Study of Ethics in Society.
Ginsburg and Brown will discuss ethical issues related to college-in-prison programming. Topics will include the prioritization of humanization as a guiding principle and some commonly misunderstood aspects of higher education for justice-involved people.
