Research, Innovation, and Creative Scholarship Celebration Week: The Power of Photovoice for Advancing Health, Gender, and Racial Equity: Reflections and Findings from Two Photovoice Studies

Photovoice is an innovative research method combining participatory photography and narratives of research participants. Dr. Shannon McMorrow will offer an overview of Photovoice, which she’s centered in her research over the past 12 years, including recent Fulbright research in Uganda.

A collaborative event showcasing conservation infographics created by students.

Research, Innovation, and Creative Scholarship Celebration Week: BFA Dance Majors Presentations

This presentation is the culminating capstone project of the BFA curriculum. The projects reflect each student’s artistic interests as a practicing dance artist with a focus on expanding their range of experience, demonstrate the student’s development in choreography and/or performance, and reflect the student’s current career goals. The dance and its production are the culmination of the student’s studies in dance technique, theory, and aesthetics.
