Research, Innovation, and Creative Scholarship Celebration Week: BFA Dance Majors Presentations

Posted by Christine Stamper for Research and Innovation

This presentation is the culminating capstone project of the BFA curriculum. The projects reflect each student’s artistic interests as a practicing dance artist with a focus on expanding their range of experience, demonstrate the student’s development in choreography and/or performance, and reflect the student’s current career goals. The dance and its production are the culmination of the student’s studies in dance technique, theory, and aesthetics. Projects are shared with audiences through a public presentation or concert coordinated and managed collaboratively by all the senior BFA dance majors.

Research, Innovation, and Creative Scholarship Celebration Week is a cross-campus and community collaborative event to honor the research done by undergraduates, graduates, and faculty at WMU and WMed. For more information about the week's event visit ORI's website
