IRB Meeting Schedule

WMU IRB meetings are held the third Wednesday of each month.

Time:  Meetings begin at 8:00 a.m.
Location:  Emeriti Lounge, 211 West Walwood Hall, East Campus

All investigators listed on the protocol are invited to attend the full board meeting; the principal investigator is expected to attend. A notification indicating the time for the protocol review will be sent one week prior to the meeting date.

This IRB meeting is not intended to defend research, protocol or methodology; however, the investigator may be asked to provide clarification or answer questions related to the protocol to assist the IRB in reviewing the research study.

Expedited, exempt or administrative review

WMU IRB human subject research protocols for expedited, exempt or administrative review may be submitted at any time and are reviewed on a rolling basis.

All submissions must be completed in Cayuse for Human Subjects Research

Full board review

WMU IRB human subject research protocol submissions requiring full board review must be submitted by the first Wednesday of each month.
