Lee Honors College Names 2022 Faculty Fellows

Dr. Steve Feffer, Dr. Karen Lancendorfer and Pamela Wadsworth, RN, WHNP-BC, PhD, were recently honored as Lee Honors College Faculty Fellows at our spring graduation ceremony. Read on to learn more about their work with our honors students. 

Dr. Steve Feffer

Dr. Feffer is a professionally produced and published playwright whose primary interests include theatre and performance and its connections to rock, pop and hip hop music with respect to politics and activism. He enjoys teaching honors classes finds that Lee Honors College students are always ready to contribute in a meaningful and substantial way to our learning community.

Dr. Karen Lancendorfer

Dr. Lancendorfer teaches advertising in the Haworth College of Business and her research interests include political advertising and crisis communication, as well as her more recent exploration of advertising communication. A mentor to many, Dr. Lancendorfer loves her honors students because "they are always ready and willing to step up and they always go above and beyond."

Pamela Wadsworth, RN, WHNP-BC, PhD

Professor Wadsworth joined WMU in 2016 and specializes in sexual and reproductive health and gendered violence. When informed of her faculty fellow selection, Wadsworth expressed her gratitude for working with honors students and shared that "each LHC student brings in their own intellectual curiosity, work ethic and passion. These qualities will serve them well as nurses and healthcare professionals."
