Get to know the Lee Honors College Staff - Bethany Gauthier

• Years with the honors college: Two years at the honors college. Bethany has worked previously on campus in marketing at Miller Auditorium and as an instructor for the First-Year Experience program and the Department of English. 

• Title and role/responsibilities at the honors college: As Marketing and Communication Specialist, Bethany oversees most internal communications to students as well as external communications to the campus community. This includes managing our e-newsletters and all of the Lee Honors College social media channels. 

• Bethany’s college major: Bronco grad twice over with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English (Creative Writing) and a Master of Fine Arts degree in Drama (Playwriting). 

• Favorite thing about working at the LHC: Getting to know the students and sharing their stories. The staff is pretty cool, too. 

• Hobbies: Reading, watching lots of movies/TV, going on nature walks with her family and taking way too many photos of her Boston Terriers, Otis and Elmer. 

• Fun fact: Can recite the ABCs backwards (and pretty quickly), and as a child won a bike and a large frozen turkey in separate coloring contests.
