25 Year Club

The Board of Trustees established the 25 Year Club in 1982 with 98 charter members, with the goal of recognizing faculty and staff who have at least 25 years of service to Western Michigan University.

Membership in the 25 Year Club is recognized at the annual gala, which is traditionally held in November. All active and retired members of the 25 Year Club are invited to this annual event.

The 25 Year Club membership is purely an honorary designation. Other than the annual gala, there are no other official functions or responsibilities affiliated with the club.

New members are "inducted" into the club during the calendar year in which they achieve 25 years of service. These new members receive a gift from the University, a commemorative certificate and a 25 Year Club mug.

Human Resources is happy to announce we are hosting an in-person annual 25 Year Gala this year to celebrate members and inductees. Please save the date!

Location: Bernhard Center Ballroom

As mentioned in previous years, the 25 Year Club Gala mailing has moved to an electronic medium. This year's invitation will be sent via Evite to your Western Michigan University email address. You must RSVP online via Evite on or before the deadline. Guest payments must be made payable by personal check or money order to Human Resources and mailed through regular U.S. postal mail directly to Human Resources, 1903 W. Michigan Ave., Kalamazoo, MI 49008-5217, by the deadline.

Human Resources will soon send the electronic Evite invitations to your WMU email address.
