Non-bargaining employees–Holiday Recess
- Holiday recess period: Thursday, Dec. 24, 2020 through Friday, Jan. 1, 2021. (Note: the holiday recess period is inclusive of the following non-bargaining recognized days off for the holidays: Christmas Day, Friday, Dec. 25, 2020, and New Year's Day, Friday, Jan. 1, 2021.)
- WMU will resume normal business hours on Monday, Jan. 4, 2021.
- Offices that may remain open during holiday recess:
- Bernhard Center
- Development Office
- Lawson Ice Arena
- West Hills Athletic Club
- Offices that will remain open 24 hours per day, seven days a week during holiday recess:
- Public Safety
- Power Plant
- Ongoing research and creative activities as necessary
Important notes:
- Some employees, not assigned to the offices listed above, may be required to work because of designated tasks. These employees will be notified by their supervisors as soon as possible.
- Employees who are required to work on holiday recess days will be provided with alternative time off at a later date, as arranged by their supervisor.
