Respecting Differences
As part of our work to be a campus where respect and belonging are reflected in daily practices, Western invites you to the 27th annual Respecting Differences presentation, “From Friction to Fuel: Leveraging Strengths in Intergenerational Work Teams,” Wednesday, April 8.
This year’s program will focus on how we can turn generational differences in our workplace into a source of energy and connection for our teams, as well as for the students and communities we serve.
The keynote speaker, Dr. Jennifer Bott, marketing professor in the Haworth College of Business, will lead attendees in exploring practical strategies for building high-performing, intergenerational teams. Drawing from more than two decades of executive leadership and consulting experience in corporate and nonprofit settings, she has helped organizations strengthen engagement, navigate complex change and create cultures where people can do their best work.
Dr. Bott will deliver two 90-minute presentations at Miller Auditorium, scheduled for 9 to 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 to 3 p.m. I encourage you to attend and invite teammates in your area to participate if they can.
The event is free to attend, and no registration is required. Complimentary parking will also be available.
Western is again honored to collaborate with Integrated Services of Kalamazoo, Kalamazoo College, Kalamazoo Valley Community College, Kalamazoo County, and the cities of Kalamazoo and Portage.
