This training will include an overview of the system’s talent recruitment, postings, and the hiring process. The outcome is to help hiring agents understand the applicant tracking system.

Performance Management - Human Resources Training
This Human Resources session focuses on performance management. The training includes information about WMU’s performance management system, timeline, setting goals and objectives, writing SMART goals, providing feedback, rating scales, planning and conducting performance reviews, and more. The outcome is to help employees, managers and supervisors with the performance management process and to boost employee and supervisor engagement.

Leaves of Absence - Human Resources Training
This Human Resources session focuses on leaves of absence information. A leave of absence is a way for employees who are experiencing circumstances that require to take approved time off from work. The training provides information about WMU’s different leaves of absence, applying for a leave, and types of leaves and paid leaves and unpaid leaves, such as the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA). The outcome is to help employees, managers and supervisors better understand the university’s leave options.
