Student Veterans of America® (SVA) is the premier organization leading service, research, programs, and advocacy for veterans in higher education.

Today's veterans face numerous obstacles in their path to attain a college degree. These challenges range from missing a sense of camaraderie to adjusting back to a civilian classroom. When coupled with the visible and invisible wounds of war, a college degree can be an elusive goal for men and women returning from military service. The Student Veterans of America group works to make that goal a reality.
The Western Michigan University Chapter of the SVA is a way for veterans, currently serving military, ROTC cadets and their friends and families to find support, resources and the advocacy needed to succeed in higher education and employment.
