Experts slated for upcoming Michigan Autism Conference

The fourth annual Michigan Autism Conference will bring leading scientists and treatment practitioners to the Radisson Plaza Hotel Wednesday through Friday, Sept. 14-16.

Alumni competing in goalball at Paralympics in Rio

John Kusku, Joseph Hamilton, Tyler Merren and Asya Miller, all graduates of WMU, and Jen Armbruster, a former WMU instructor, are competing in the goalball competitions at the Paralympic Games, which run through Sept. 18.

Integrated supply management students receive prestigious industry scholarships

The scholarships, totaling $6,000, will be presented to Aaron McClendon and Emma Stuba at an awards ceremony in October.

New WMU trustee sworn in, to join board for upcoming meeting

William Pickard was sworn in Sept. 6 and will take his place at the board table when WMU trustees convene for a formal session at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 7.
