Integrating Research and Inquiry into EDL: Office of Research and Innovation

Posted by Jocelyn Nichols for Office of the Provost

This virtual workshop will support faculty interested in incorporating undergraduate research, inquiry, creative scholarship or other research-informed approaches into their proposed EDL projects. Topics may include developing meaningful roles for undergraduate students in research and creative activity; integrating research or inquiry into courses and curricula; identifying appropriate project scope and methods; addressing research compliance or other requirements when applicable; and considering opportunities to sustain or expand undergraduate research experiences.

This session is intended to be informal and interactive. It will include a brief overview of the resources and support available through the Office of Research and Innovation. Most of the time will be reserved for questions, discussion and consultation about potential project ideas. Faculty are welcome to attend this or any of the other sessions, whether they have a well-developed proposal or are just beginning to explore an idea.
