CAS Recruitment Efforts

Below are some of the great things that have happened during recruitment since moving remotely.
- Talked with a father on the phone and he was so happy/relieved when we called! He and his son are looking at colleges and think WMU is a great choice. They thought we were SO welcoming when they came for a tour over the summer and one of the main reasons they are considering WMU in addition to our services for individuals with autism.
- A doctoral student logged on during a virtual daily session and although these are geared toward undergraduate students, she had so many questions about WMU in general and wanted to know more about Kalamazoo. She is a Fulbright student and was nervous about moving here in August. Now, she feels more prepared and we were able to connect her with the right email for further resources in her program. We have plans to meet during back to school this Fall.
- We have several amazing faculty in our college offer virtual sessions for prospective Broncos to sit in on such short notice.
