Bio:

Dr. Meagan Walsh is an Assistant Professor in Special Education at Western Michigan University. Prior to coming to Western Michigan University, Dr. Walsh taught special education in three states (Nevada, Illinois, and South Dakota), researched reading and math interventions as part of a large research team at Vanderbilt University, consulted with the National Cetner on Intensifying Intervention, and served as an intensive technical assistance provider for Michigan Multi-Tiered Systems of Support Technical Assistance Center. Dr. Walsh’s teaching and research focuses on evidence-based literacy and numeracy intervention, implementation of multi-tiered systems of support, data-based individualization, and assessment for students with and at risk for learning disabilities.
