Dr. Luchara Wallace appointed to Kalamazoo County Advisory Committee

KALAMAZOO, Mich.—Dr. Luchara Wallace, associate professor of Special Education in the College of Education and Human Development at Western Michigan University has been appointed to the Kalamazoo County Advisory Committee. The Kalamazoo County Advisory Committee is charged with assisting the transition of services from Kalamazoo County Community Action to Community Action South Central (based in Battle Creek, MI). Dr. Jianping Shen, director of Tate Grant and Innovation Center and professor of Educational Leadership, Research and Technology, recommended Dr. Wallace for this service based upon her research and community engagement.
