On Thursday, Sept. 29, the National Student Speech Language Hearing Association (NSSLHA) WMU chapter will host a screening of Michael Turner's film, The Way We Talk, at 6:45 p.m. in the Dale B. Lake Auditorium at Kalamazoo Valley Community College. A reception and discussion with the filmmaker will follow.
The screening is a fundraiser for Camp Shout Out, a camp for youth who stutter that is hosted near Muskegon, Michigan each summer.
Admission:
$25 - faculty, clinical supervisors, & members of the community
$15 - all students
You may buy tickets for this fundraiser when you pay for your Van Riper Lectures registration. (You do not need to be a Van Riper Lecture registrant to attend this event.)
