WMU SAA
The Western Michigan University Student Academy of Audiology is a national student chapter of the American Academy of Audiology (AAA). The SAA serves as a collective voice for students within the chapter area and to advance the rights, interests, and welfare of students pursuing careers in audiology. The SAA helps lead students in activities of volunteering, fundraising, and advocacy for the profession of audiology as well as the populations that we serve.

ASL Club
American Sign Language Club at Western Michigan University is a campus-wide registered student organization that promotes an inclusive environment for students who are interested in American Sign Language. The ASL Club is open to all students with any level of experience in ASL and to members of the local Deaf and Hard of Hearing community. The ASL Club at WMU aims to provide a place where students can practice using ASL and promote immersion in this rich, beautiful language and Deaf Culture.
The ASL Club at WMU serves to provide a social outlet for students and members of the Deaf Community by focusing on fun ways to teach students signs and creating opportunities for all to connect within the Deaf community through events, fundraising and volunteer work. This organization holds monthly meetings and many social events throughout the year.
The ASL Club at WMU invites all that are interested in American Sign Language to join. All are welcome!
