The business operations team provides a range of support services that address the needs of Western Michigan University students, faculty and staff, and that contribute to achievement of division and University goals. Business operations responsibilities under the Division of Student Affairs include financial planning, budgeting, and managing central services that support operations.
Through financial and statistical analysis, the business operations team strives to provide the vice president and all other constituents with the information necessary to best allocate resources in support of the programs and services offered to WMU students. The unit also works with student affairs departments and the University’s central business units to strengthen and improve business processes, practices and procedures.
