The purpose of Student Affairs Assessment and Effectiveness is to support data-informed decision-making for continuous improvement.

With an equity-centered approach, Student Affairs Assessment and Effectiveness uses quantitative and qualitative methodologies, and data integration and visualization to:

  • Plan for divisional priorities
  • Evaluate programs and service delivery through the program review process
  • Assess student learning and engagement

The data collected, analyzed, visualized and reported by this office serves to support decision-making, for partners within the division and across Western Michigan University.
