Commitment Fee
Definition: The non-refundable portion of the total billable program cost. Not a separate or additional fee.
- Note: Students who withdraw from a study abroad program after “committing” to the program in Broncos Abroad must pay the respective commitment fee and any non-recoverable expenses associated with their program.
Travel Study Abroad Programs, Internships, and Special Travel Programs

Virtual Study Abroad Programs, Internships, and Special Virtual Programs

*WMU students may not earn more than 8 credits per semester in a virtual program at a non-exchange partner.

- WMU Study Abroad International Health Insurance: $20 per week, per student
