Fall 2026 TRIO Events

Below are the TRIO SSP events that will all offer event credit this semester. If you are interested in attending an event, please first check the Event RSVP form as an RSVP may be required for the event. Also, as we take photos at events, we will start to add them to the Instagram page. Please follow us on IG if you would like to see your photos posted. Other events may be added as the semester starts so be sure to check back here, the newsletter, or on social media for more info.

Short Description: TRIO Staff will be hosting weekly game nights that students can come by to meet other TRIO students, staff, and have fun with different activities and games.

Event Type: LEGO Stories Sessions RSVP

Short Description: LEGO: Brick Story sessions are all designed to help students growth through leadership, meditation, teamwork, and communication activities using LEGO. Each session has a 12 person cap. Check the session below and signup using the link above:

Short Description: Come join TRIO for our annual Back to School BBQ. There will be food, music, games, meeting and making new friends, as well as meeting all the staff. This is a great opportunity to come and connect with TRIO!

Short Description: TRIO will take a private tour of the essential needs building to learn more about the Montgomery Essential Needs program and have the opportunity to "shop" afterwards.

Deadline: 10/12/2026 - Monday (Only 6 Seats)

Short Description:  Join a graduate school trip to the University of Michigan with other Michigan TRIO programs. Learn about the resources and programs that U of M has to offer and meet other students from similar TRIO programs across Michigan. Lunch and travel will be provided. Please complete the Travel RSVP form by the deadline before the trip if you are interested in attending.

Short Description: Come in a costume or just as your self to the Trick or Treat Meet n' Greet to get a load of candy, and meet with other TRIO students, as well as other campus resources.

Short Description: Do you like Tacos? Do you like Burritos? Do you like saving money as you navigate all the twists and turns of the college environment? Then you would like the Financial Aid Fiesta, where you can eat some good food and get real help with your financial aid, scholarships, and FAFSA during this workshop.

Short Description:  Join us as we watch the Polar Express! We will have popcorn and hot chocolate! Bring a bucket, bring a mug, bring a blanket, and bring a friend! We will also have mugs, cups, and bags of popcorn available for anyone that shows up.
