Community Courses Registration

2024 FALL CLASSES

Chinese language and cultural classes will be offered from 9/9/2024.

Registration will be on a "first-come-first-served" basis, and all registration is conducted through the online form below. Please contact us at 269-387-3951 or email hige-asia@wmich.edu if you wish to register for a class after the registration deadline or after it has already begun. Classes with low enrollment may be canceled.

After registration, you will receive a confirmation note to the email address you provided. If you do not receive the confirmation email, please let us know hige-asia@wmich.edu.

STEP

The course registration takes 3 steps to complete:
1. Browse the course offerings page, decide which course to register, figure out the total due for tuition and material fees.
2. Make the payment through either “Pay online” with credit or debit card, or “Pay by check”. If pay online, you will receive a payment confirmation Email with Transaction ID.
3. Register for the courses of your choice, enter the Transaction ID or Check number when prompted. You will receive a confirmation Email upon the completion listing the registered courses.

PAYMENT METHOD

Pay Online:
On the “Invoice Number” line, please write "CLCP01". You will receive a confirmation Email with a transaction ID, please fill in this number on the registration form.  
NOTE: No WMU staff can enter payment information into this site using a WMU computer. This violates PCI requirements and will raise a red flag in the system, as we are connected to the WMU network.

Pay by Check:
Make check payable to WMU and mail to the address below. Please fill in the check number on the registration form.

Refund Policy

  • Application Deadline: Refund requests will be accepted until 09.21.2024. Any requests submitted after this date will not be considered.
  • Processing Timeline: All refund requests will be processed starting from 09.23.2024.

$120 per course. $60 for participants 55 and above or WMU student, $25 for WMU employees. (In addition to the regular tuition, $5 material fee is required for Tai Chi fan class, and $25 material fee is required for Chinese art and tea ceremony class.)
