Attending the summer camp offers a unique and enriching opportunity for students to engage in high-quality, rigorous and intensive Chinese language training. WMU Asian Initiatives hosts an enriching two-week summer camp for high school students in Beijing and Chengdu, China. The camp features exciting travel experiences to iconic locations such as the Great Wall, Olympic Parks, Temple of Heaven, Palace Museum, Summer Palace, Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, Du Fu Cottage, and Wuhou Temple. Participants also explore modern attractions like Taikoo Li, a vibrant shopping and entertainment district, and the historic Wide and Narrow Alleys, known for their blend of traditional and contemporary Chengdu life. Additionally, attendees enjoy cultural activities, including a traditional Chinese tea ceremony and Chinese painting. This immersive camp provides a unique blend of historical exploration and contemporary experiences, making it an unforgettable adventure for all.
