Addiction studies program reaches 50 year milestone

Fifty years ago, WMU’s Specialty Program in Alcohol and Drug Abuse was one of the first of its kind, preparing students for a variety of positions in addiction treatment. Our graduates have made tremendous impacts on those in our communities suffering from addiction. Today, we are a leader in the field, celebrating our 50th anniversary with a Homecoming Week gathering - Friday, October 13, from 5:30 to 8 p.m. We'll have food, music and just a few speakers to mark the occasion.
