Changes to Spring Semester: Jan. 19–April 30, 2021

WMU busing service will resume operation on Tuesday, Jan. 19, aligning with the first day of in-person classes as decreed in the Governor's executive order.

The Aviation shuttle will be serviced by the Bronco Transit van Monday, Jan. 11 through Saturday, Jan. 16, utilizing the Saturday/Summer schedule. Aviation's regular Spring semester schedule will begin on Tuesday, Jan. 19.

Western Michigan University students, faculty and staff can ride any Metro routes and university shuttle services by showing their valid Western Michigan University Bronco Card—all routes have been prepaid. The campus loading zone, located between Rood Hall and the Fetzer Center, is the transit hub where all buses and shuttles arrive and depart.

There are three specific campus routes that service East, Main, and Aviation campuses:

  • Aviation icon

    Aviation Shuttle

    Aviation Shuttle will be serviced by the Bronco Transit van Monday, Jan. 11 through Saturday, Jan. 16 utilizing the Saturday/Summer schedule. The regular Spring semester schedule will resume on Tuesday, Jan. 19 The Aviation shuttle provides service from the main campus to the College of Aviation in Battle Creek, MI.

    (No Service: Nov. 20–Jan. 18.) Route #19 Ring Road circles the perimeter of campus which includes a stop at the College of Health and Human Services building on East campus.

    (No Service: Nov. 20–Jan. 18.) This route services the WMU community from the main campus to the College of Engineering, Parkview campus.
