    WMU students, faculty and staff can ride Metro Transit with a valid WMU Bronco Card.

Spring semester bus changes

  • Thursday, March 25 will be the last day for the Ring Road on-campus route.
  • Please see Parkview Route for changes to this route's schedule beginning April 5.

  • The Aviation shuttle will resume the Spring schedule on Monday, April 5 until the end of the semester.

 

Western Michigan University students, faculty and staff can ride any Metro routes and university shuttle services by showing their valid Western Michigan University Bronco Card—all routes have been prepaid. The campus loading zone, located between Rood Hall and the Fetzer Center, is the transit hub where all buses and shuttles arrive and depart.

Metro's myStop GPS system can be used online or by download the myStop App from the Apple App Store for from Google Play.

Campus routes

There are three specific campus routes that service East, Main, and Aviation campuses:

  • Aviation icon

    Aviation Shuttle

    No shuttle service March 25–April 3. The regular Spring semester schedule will resume on April 5. The Aviation shuttle provides service from the main campus to the College of Aviation in Battle Creek, MI.

    No service March 25–May 9. See route changes starting on May 10. Route #19 Ring Road circles the perimeter of campus which includes a stop at the College of Health and Human Services building on East campus.

    No service March 25–April 4. See route changes starting on April 5. This route services the WMU community from the main campus to the College of Engineering, Parkview campus.
