Campus Loading Zone Survey

Metro has the opportunity to apply for a grant to upgrade, with the assistance of Western Michigan University, the Campus Loading Zone located at Rood Hall (Stop 97). The bus stop provides connections to Metro's routes 3-W. Michigan, 16-Lovell, 19-Ring, 21-Solon Kendall, and 25-Parkview. Apartment shuttles and the WMU Aviation Shuttle also stop at the loading area. The grant's objective is to support "projects with the purpose of making communities more walkable, bikeable and transit- and micromobility-friendly."

Please let us know your thoughts on the current Campus Loading Zone and what you'd like to see improved. The award announcements are scheduled for August/September 2024 and if awarded, Metro will publish the awarded details for the upgrade.
