Ph.D. in Civil Engineering Process and Forms
- TheDoctoral Program of Study form should be completed within first year of starting the program.
- The Committee Appointment form should be completed within first year of starting the program.
- Ph.D. Candidate Annual Review
- The Permission to Elect Courses form for enrolling in the dissertation credits (CCE 7300) should be completed before the start of semester in which those credits are intended to be taken. These credits can be registered after completing the Qualifying Exam.
The Admission to Doctoral Candidacy form should be completed as soon as the proposal is approved. The committee needs to sign this form. This form may also be completed at the time of proposal defense. - Apply for graduation through GoWMU by the deadline date. Information on graduation is found at http://www.wmich.edu/registrar/graduation-doctoral
- The Dissertation Defense Scheduling form should be completed at least two weeks prior to the proposed defense.
- The Dissertation Approval forms should be completed at the time of Dissertation Defense.
- Finally, the Dissertation Check-In form should be completed and submitted with the final dissertation write-up to the Graduate College.
