Hobley-Spencer Disappearance
The Crime:
The Michigan State Police are seeking new leads in the disappearance of two teenage girls in Oscoda, Michigan, on Halloween night in 1969. Pamela and Patricia were last seen walking eastbound, away from Oscoda High School, on East River Road around 2:00pm. Investigators believed that while these two were not known to be friends, they were skipping school together.
The Victims:
Pamela Hobley was 15 years old, white, between 5’6” and 5’8” tall and about 110 pounds with long brown hair and brown eyes. She was wearing a white fur coat with brown fur trim, a brown and white plaid skirt, white cotton knee socks and chunky shoes.
Patricia Spencer was 16 years old, white, between 5’3” and 5’5” and about 125 pounds with long blond hair and blue eyes. She was wearing a tweed or brown plaid skirt, brown sweater, grey and green plaid jacket and brown shoes with thick heels.
The Case:
A recent development led investigators to believe that the murderer of 16-year-old Sherri Jo Elliot, Mr. Roni Collins, may have been connected to the disappearance of Pamela and Patricia. The Michigan State Police has since renewed appeals to the public for tips. If you or someone you may know have any information about the disappearance of Pamela Hobley and Patricia Spencer, please contact the Michigan State Police West Brance Post at (989)345-0956.
