Studio Schedules

Studio Reservations

Below are the Studio Schedules for each space. Spaces must be reserved a minimum of 2 business days in advance by completing the Google Reservation Request From below. It is your responsibility to review available studio times using the links below before submitting your request. Schedules are subject to change.

Studios may only be reserved by faculty or dance majors for any creative activities associated with the Department of Dance, and by RSOs who have a full-time dance faculty member as an advisor. Any other requests are subject to approval according to department policies. When a conflict in reservation requests does arise, the Production Manager will assess which is the highest priority according to department policies and attempt to make other arrangements for any parties that may not be able to use the requested space. Priority for requests and conflict resolution is considered as follows: 1) Guest artist residencies, 2) faculty & guest artist rehearsals, 3) student rehearsals for required choreographic projects (GPs, Capstone, JJs, etc.), 4) other student requests including RSOs.

Covid-19 safety guidelines must be followed including: masks must be worn at all times, sanitize hands frequently with provided sanitizer, use disinfectant wipes on any used equipement. Partnering/contact between students is limited only to those students who reside in the same household or in the case of faculty/guest artist rehearsals, those who have confirmed vaccination status with WMU.

Upon leaving the studio at the nd of a rehearsal it is your responsibility to close all doors and turn off the lights. Do NOT leave the door propped open if the next scheduled person has not arrived.  Studio privileges may be revoked for the following reasons:

  • Failure to secure the room and turn off the lights
  • Failure to cancel a reservation when you do no tplan to use it
  • Unauthorized use of the space and/or equipment
  • Avoidable damage to department equipment or facilities

All reservations must adhere to the Department of Dance's guidelines and terms for use. Any violation of these terms, may result in loss of future studio privileges.
