Accreditation

Both of the Institute’s programs hold accreditation with the National Association of Schools of Art and Design which seeks to maintain art and design education at the highest levels. 

The Product Design program is affiliated with the Industrial Design Society of America. https://www.idsa.org/

In addition, the Interior Architecture and Design program, leading to a 4-year Bachelor of Science, is accredited by the Council for Interior Design Accreditation, www.accredit-id.org. 

The Bachelor of Science in Interior Architecture and Design granted by WMU meets the educational requirement for eligibility to sit for the National Council for Interior Design Qualification Examination (NCIDQ Exam).
