Connecting Personal Laptop to 24” Cintiq Pros and Wacom 16”

The 24” Cintiq Pro displays can be connected with a single USB-C cable.

Another approach would be for both the 24” Cintiq Pro and the 16” Cintiq displays in the studios. They can be connected using an HDMI port and a regular USB port on your laptop. If you use this connection approach, both are required in order to fully function.  You may need an adapter if your laptop does not have both ports.

Download appropriate Wacom drivers to your laptop.

Follow the prompts to install the Wacom utilities and drivers.

On a Mac laptop you will need to go into preferences>privacy and security>accessibility to make sure you give the Cintiq permission as well as permission in preferences>privacy and security>input monitoring.

You may have to restart your laptop to enable the connection.
