Students turn ideas into market-ready products at RID+I’s Venture Studio

At the Richmond Institute for Design and Innovation, the Venture Studio transforms student concepts into real-world products. Led by Professor Michael Seeley, the course guides students through the full innovation process—from desirability and feasibility to pitch-ready viability. Through hands-on projects, industry collaboration, and investor pitch nights, students gain experience in design thinking, entrepreneurship, and product development. The result? A launchpad for young innovators to bring meaningful, market-ready solutions to life.
