Struggling with the cost of textbooks? We’re here to help.

The Books for Broncos Scholarship is designed to assist Western Michigan University students facing financial hardship with the costs of textbooks and class materials.

Helping you focus on your education

The Books for Broncos scholarship is available for students who are in need of support to successfully complete their academic goals, helping alleviate the burden of expensive course materials. This scholarship can help you focus on what really matters—your education—without the stress of textbook costs.

How the scholarship works

This need-based scholarship is aimed at helping students who are facing barriers to accessing required academic resources. Students must demonstrate financial need through a brief application and agree to return any books purchased through this scholarship to the Bronco Food Pantry at the end of the semester. This helps us ensure the sustainability of the program and help future students.
