"Chaos or Community?" is this year's theme for Western’s MLK Day Teach-in, part of an annual celebration in honor of slain civil rights leader Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Free and open to the public, the event features four sessions:
- Session 1: Connecting Passion and Purpose
- Session 2: The Unseen KING
- Session 3: Student Panel Perspectives
- Session 4: What side are you on?
In addition, a featured exhibit curated by the Black History 101 Mobile Museum that honors Malcolm X will run at the same time as the teach-in.
The teach-in is sponsored by the Office of Diversity and Inclusion, Lewis Walker Institute for the Study of Race and Ethnic Relations, and Department of Athletics.
