MLK 2024 Special Guest Speaker I Chaos or Community

Dr. Ilyasah Shabazz, daughter of Malcolm X and an award-winning author, educator and producer, is the guest speaker for Western's MLK Celebration and will talk on the theme "Chaos or Community?" The event is free and open to the public, although tickets for the talk are required and available through the Miller Auditorium box office for pick up until the evening of the event. 

The event is held in partnership with the Office of Diversity and Inclusion, Lewis Walker Institute for the Study of Race and Ethnic Relations, and Department of Athletics.
