Plants are Powerful: Let's Head to the Farm-acy

Posted by Tammy Boneburg for Western Wellness

Loaded with vitamins, minerals, fiber, and phytonutrients, and easier on the environment than animal foods, plants can have a huge impact on your health and the health of the planet.  This workshop will discuss the health benefits of plants, and how choosing plants over animals is good for the environment.  You’ll also get a chance to harvest and sample fresh produce from the Gibbs House.

Facilitated by Gretchen Kauth, Registered Dietitian.

Dress for the weather and wear closed-toe shoes because this event will be outdoors. We'll have water on hand, but feel free to bring a reusable bottle to stay hydrated!
Park in the lot to the left of the house. Carpooling is highly encouraged.
